Summary of comparative law research in Central Europe (announcement)

A conference organized by the Institute of Justice will be held on November 15-17 at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. Scientists from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine and Poland will take part in the international scientific conference, which is the culmination of this year’s comparative legal research.

The conference is the culmination of this year’s scientific research initiated by the Institute of Justice a few years ago. The three-day scientific conference will present the research results of eight teams involving almost 50 scientists from 18 research centers in Central Europe and Georgia.

The Polish-Hungarian Research Platform will present research on the legal protection of farmers, protection of children with disabilities, freedom of conscience in the institutional aspect and cybercrime. The next four teams of scientists from the Czech Republic, Georgia, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine will present the results of their research on the legislative process to amend the Constitution, the rule of law, the reform of administrative justice and the effectiveness of the justice system as part of the Comparative Research Platform.
