The conference of the Via Carpatia Polytechnic Network was held at the Lublin Conference Center. This is a format of cooperation between three Polish universities of technology: from Lublin, Rzeszów and Białystok, which is intended to serve the development of technical sciences, also in the context of Via Carpatia.
During the conference, areas of cooperation were discussed, as well as the potential of this cooperation between universities of technology. The most interesting inventions of individual scientific teams were also presented. One such device was the Medium Voltage Vacuum Disconnect Switch. According to the designers, this is an innovative invention on a national scale that will make the work of power engineers easier. Thanks to this, in the event of a failure, you do not have to disconnect the entire network, but only a selected segment.
Great emphasis was also placed on cooperation with secondary schools. The Via Carpatia network project has been supported by the Ministry of Education and Science from the beginning. The agreement to establish the Via Carpatia Network was signed in April 2022.
