The Three Seas Universities Network

The Three Seas Universities Network was inaugurated on May 16 during the Three Seas Local Government Congress in Lublin. The main goals of the established network are activities aimed at conducting joint scientific research, exchange of students and academic staff, and implementing innovative solutions in the field of education.

In total, the agreement was signed by representatives of 13 universities from 10 European countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine. The initiator of the creation of the network is the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

This is an important initiative that can effectively contribute to activities aimed at the internationalization of scientific cooperation by: creating an internal system for the exchange of research workers and students, joint implementation of international conferences, summer schools, joint preparation of international projects, cooperation with the socio-economic environment. An important element of the project is also the creation of a common scientific and cultural identity of the region, emphasizing their subjectivity compared to other educational and scientific projects in Europe, while maintaining national distinctiveness.
